Sierra Leone, Senegal, and Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) are Third World Nations in West Africa. In Sierra Leone approximately 70% of its civilians are below the poverty line. The Ivory Coast has just began to recuperate from a civil war which took the lives of at least 1000. In Senegal only 29% of girls have the capability of having an education. These statistics are illustrated in this memo to show that there is a need to focus on Africa.

 

The fundraisers' mission will include multiculturalist qualities, showcasing the talent, intellect, culture, struggles, and beauty of many African nations. Primary goal is: breaking the effect of poverty in these three countries, improve education attainment, achieve better sanitation and health awareness, and empower the African youth to better their country.
