The EDO/BINI Tribe is known and has traditions since the beginning of brides wearing traditional coral. Coral beads are a known part of EDO Tradition and the EDO Tribe has coined it. I doubt that this girl is Igbo. If she is then she is either marrying an Edo guy or adapting the tradition of the EDO people.
Our apologies. This post was submitted by a friend of the bride and she indicated that the bride was Igbo. She DID, however, marry a Benin man which may have been the reason for your confusion. However, in Igbo tribes, it is common for royalty to done coral during wedding ceremonies along with other formal occasions.
