African Recipes: Puff Puff

PUFF PUFF
Other Names: Bofrot, Togbei, African Donuts


Serving Size: About 40 Puff Puffs 
Ingredients : 
  • 4 Cups of Flour
  • 1 packet of Yeast
  • 3/4 Cup of Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
  • 2 Cups of Water
  • 1 Teaspoon of Nutmeg
Instructions:
  1. Warm the water until lukewarm
  2. Pour yeast into the water and stir.
  3. Add sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add flour and nutmeg.
  5. Mix well, until all there are no lumps.
  6. Cover in airtight container, and let it stand out for at  least 40 minutes. 
  7. Deep fry in hot oil. Grab about a little bit of a handful and drop in pot to create ball shape.

    My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I

  3. Have you ever considered about including a little bit
    more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and all.
    But think of if you added some great pictures or video clips to give
    your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with images and videos, this site could definitely be one
    of the most beneficial in its field. Fantastic blog!
