It's been exactly 10 years since that horrible attack that left America crippled.
Family, friends, loved ones...all had their lives taken from them.
This shows how unexpected life is...regardless of any plans we make, they can easily be set off course.
I was in the 5th grade...I was only 10 when it happened but I was able to comprehend the intensity of the situation.
I watched with countless others as people willingly jumped to their deaths rather than face the debris come toppling down on them.
We all stood flabbergasted as the massive buildings came tumbling to the ground like a deck of cards; debris flying everywhere.
It's heart-wrenching to try and console the families of those that lost their loved ones or even hear the stories of the people that were THERE. Those that survived.
Events like this prove to me that the world is full of so much hatred and evil...yet when things like this happen, we all manage to come together...and you begin to see the LIGHT and LOVE in man-kind.
Should it take a national disaster for us to realize that we should love our fellow man?
