ESPN3 will carry all 32 matches of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, which began Saturday morning with the match between host South Africa and Cape Verde Islands.
The channel is available in 83 million homes in the United States, ESPN said, and can be viewed on the Internet and on various mobile devices. All matches on ESPN3 will be carried live, with the semifinals and finals also available on ESPN Deportes on a tape delay.
The 29th edition of the 16-nation tournament runs from Saturday through the final on Feb. 10. Zambia is the defending champion. The tournament also marks the return of Togo, which withdrew from the event in Angola in 2010 after its team bus was attacked by terrorists
