Face Paint

A young member of the HAMMER tribe having her face painted during the 'bull jumping ceremony' that takes place prior to a marriage and entails the groom jumping over seven bulls. 

Young women have their faces painted and in another part of the ritual women are caned by men, something that the Ethiopian government has outlawed.
