| This year's AfriCarnival Costume |
AfriCarnival, an African section in the DC Caribbean Carnival was birthed in 2005 and introduced the section in the Summer of 2006.
It grew in 2008, and in 2009, was the 4th largest section in the parade.
AfriCarnival is currently preparing for it's sixth year this Summer.
